On October 11, 2024, Turkey's Ministry of Commerce announced the final results of its anti-dumping investigation into hot-rolled coils from China, India, Japan, and Russia. It was determined that these countries have engaged in dumping practices on exports to Turkey. As of today (October 11, 2024), in addition to the existing import tariffs of 15% and 13% on non-alloy and alloy hot-rolled coils respectively, an additional anti-dumping duty will be imposed on hot-rolled coil products, ranging from 6.10% to 43.31% of the CIF price. Products imported under processing trade will be exempt from these anti-dumping duties.
